Cybersecurity
Cybersecurity is treated as part of the network design: segmentation, edge controls, secure remote access and hardened management of the ICT estate. This page does not claim certifications, audit opinions or a named product stack that is not already in use on a given project.

How a typical security engagement runs
01
Map the estate
Current segmentation, edge policy and who administers what — including what the site cannot operate.
02
Apply controls that will be watched
Verico will not deploy a control the site cannot monitor. Scope is written into the quotation.
03
Operate where contracted
Log review, firmware and policy change can be included under managed ICT. Incident response beyond the agreed network scope is defined in the service agreement.
Controls that match the estate, not a catalogue
Firewall and edge policy
Policy as part of connectivity and LAN design, sized to what the organisation can monitor.
Segmentation
User, server, camera and guest networks separated so that a fault or compromise in one does not become the default path for all.
Secure remote access
Patterns for administrators and staff as specified — VPN or other agreed methods, not a default slogan.
Hardened management
Management interfaces on network equipment taken off casual exposure and documented for operations.
Identity coordination
Controls aligned to the client’s existing identity platform rather than a parallel directory invented on the project.
Logging
Security-relevant network events retained as scoped, with review included only under managed ICT.
Multi-site environments
A common segmentation and remote-access pattern reduces the chance that one branch is operated to a weaker standard than the rest of the estate.
What this page does not claim
No ISO, PCI or other certification is implied. No customer names, penetration-test results or product-partner badges are published here.

Common questions
Scope, handover and what is not implied by this page.
Is this a penetration-testing practice?
No. The work described here is network-centric controls as part of ICT design and operations. Separate audit or testing firms are outside this page.
Will you deploy a control we cannot operate?
No. Controls are sized to the estate and to what the organisation can monitor. A control that nobody watches is not an improvement.
Discuss network-centric security
